EASTER FLOWERS: It’s time to order Easter flowers to beautify our Sanctuary and our homes in celebration of Resurrection Sunday. Deadline is Sunday March 14. Order forms are available on the literature table in the narthex. Any questions please contact Carrie Husted.

HELP US FEED THE HUNGRY! We are looking for adult and teen volunteers to help us prepare and serve food for the “Church Street Eats” program in Hartford. We are looking for volunteers to both cook food on Thursday 3/11, and serve on Friday, 3/12. We will be providing transportation to and from GCC to Hartford on Friday. Please contact Kristin or Bob Muschett for details.

ATTENTION MEN: The Iron Sharpens Iron conference will once again be held at First Cathedral in Bloomfield on Saturday March 27. The keynote speakers will be Kenny Luck who is the Men’s Pastor at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California and Barry Black who was elected the 62nd Chaplain of the United States Senate on June 27, 2003. CHOIR REHEARSALS FOR THE EASTER SEASON have begun. All adults and youth are invited to join us on Wednesdays at 8:05 pm. Please contact Kathleen Thompson TODAY if interested.

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP: The next Women's Fellowship will be held on Friday, March 19th at 7 PM at Ginnie Schluntz home. Please join us as we work on some projects for GCC's Easter remembrance and celebration.

SANCTUARY FLOWERS: The congregation is encouraged to participate in beautifying the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings, including those dates of special significance. A Flower Chart with details is located in the Fellowship Hall next to the kitchen door. Please sign up for the dates of your choice. Questions? See Hilary Cutts.

USHERS/GREETERS NEEDED: We strive to be a welcoming church and these two positions are critical to that goal. Please speak to Ed St. Louis or Bob Muschett if you are willing to serve in either of these two ministries. Older youth and teens are welcome to participate as well and you do not need to be a member of GCC.

REMINDER FROM THE TRUSTEES: Please no food or drink (except water) in the Sanctuary at any time.
